THE WHAT

Vincent Moiso is the Founder and President of VIS Business Group, LLC. He is also a Principal and President of Oceanside Glass & Tile, a more than 30-year brand providing glass tile mosaics for pools and outdoor spaces as well as glass products for the art and hobby industry. VIS Business Group, LLC recently purchased Ceramic Tile and Stone Consultants, providing expert witness services, forensic tile inspection services, and quality control management. Vincent consults for several companies for the tile and stone industry and  construction related small businesses, advising on everything from strategic planning, job problem resolution, systems and processes, inventory, sales and marketing. He is also a podcaster for The CEO Podcast and author of The Complete Guide on Developing Tile & Stone Specifications with Architects and Surviving the Wilderness: The Playbook for High Performers.

THE HOW 

Vincent has been a business owner and executive in the tile and stone industry for two and a half decades. As a business leader and educator at the executive level, his international business experience has taken him to the UK, China, Europe, Mexico, and every major market in the US. With a successful track record of business development coupled with his involvement in the industry, he has driven several businesses to double digit growth. Vincent began his career in the fabrication and installation of natural stone and related products. He still maintains a C-54 contractor’s license in the state of California. Vincent has been a tile and stone expert for more than a decade, previously chaired the education committee for the Natural Stone Institute and now sits on the TCNA handbook committee and the NSI’s technical committee.  Through his extensive international experience in the tile and stone industry, Vincent offers a unique perspective to businesses looking to grow within this market. His  expertise includes but not limited to strategic planning, b2b selling and marketing, tile and stone related product development, merchandising, tile and stone related logistics, inventory and supply chain management. Maintaining deep knowledge and experience in tile and stone manufacturing and distribution, fabrication and installation, combined with a successful track record in merchandising, product development, and strategic planning, I help business owners plan for the future, retain key employees, solve for critical problems and market their products professionally.
